Turn “I have to” into “I get to.”

“I have to go to the gym.”

“I have to go to work.”

“I have to pay the bills.”

“I have to take my kids to soccer practice.”

“I have to.”

These statements might seem harmless, but they are setting you down a path of resistance and negative thinking before you even get started.

Instead of “I have to,” think -- “I get to.”

Everything you do in life is a choice whether you think it is or not. If your goal is to become the next greatest basketball player, you don’t have to work out, you get to strengthen your body for the game; it’s all part of creating your vision. You don’t have to take your kids to soccer practice, you get to expand their horizons. You don’t have to pay the bills, you get to have the responsibility to yourself and loved ones to maintain a quality of life..

Instead of thinking that every responsibility in your life is an obligation wrought with reluctance, think of it as an opportunity to continue down the path of success and accomplishment. You’ve made a choice to build wealth and all of the obligations, nay, opportunities that come with it should be cherished and embraced with the same enthusiasm as the ultimate goal itself.

You get to live the life you’ve always wanted, you get to perform all of the duties and expectations that come with it.

You get to be healthy, happy and wealthy.
